Happy New Year !

The new year started off badly with fires in LA and power outages. On the news I heard it was spreading in Jurupa Valley but luckily they said it is not a "threat" because they were able to control the fire before it got worse. I chose this picture because this is what I mostly see of LA on the News. I believe its still going on, some houses lost their power because they believe that it is for the best to prevent fires. Sadly for me it is because of a short circuit that happened and the workers are having a hard time fixing it.

The power and internet went out at my house since Wednesday so it's been about 5-6 days. Luckily we were able to find a generator because we never got one before when we should've for situations like this. It is very hard going back to school because I won't be able to do homework without internet at home. I'm trying to get all my work done in school so then I won't have to worry about turning things in late. I chose this picture because this is basically how it looks at my house once it get dark outside, having to use a lot of flashlights.
